Lived Experience Scholarship

People who have experienced homelessness know what works, what doesn’t and what needs to change. This scholarship helps them attend the conference and take part in the conversation.

About the scholarship

Partners in Care and Bridging the Gap offer this scholarship so that cost isn’t what keeps people with lived experience out of the room. Recipients receive financial support to attend the Hawaiʻi Homelessness & Housing Conference alongside providers, advocates, government partners and community members from across the islands.

Who can apply

  • Anyone who is currently experiencing homelessness or has experienced it in the past

  3. Applicants are notifiedApplicants are contacted with a decision.
  4. Recipients attend the conferenceRecipients receive details about registration and support.
