Lunch & Learn: Teen Dating Violence 101

In honor of Teen Dating Violence Awareness month, TAP808 Teen Dating Violence 101 is an interactive, trauma-informed training designed to build foundational understanding of teen dating violence and healthy relationships. The session covers key topics such as the dynamics of power and control, common warning signs and red flags, digital abuse, and how teens experience dating violence differently than adults. Participants also learn practical prevention and response strategies, including how to support teens, promote healthy communication and boundaries, and connect youth to appropriate resources. This lunch-and-learn format is engaging, accessible, and adaptable for educators, service providers, and community partners working with teens and young adults. Presented by Jordan Renfrow, Manager at TAP808.
