Planning & Housing Committee
The Planning and Housing Committee coordinates with the city on the annual McKinney-Vento/HEARTH Act homeless funding application and regularly updates Hawai‘i’s Plan to End Homelessness. It develops recommendations for funding priorities and strategies, and other cross-agency funding opportunities.
O'ahu Youth Action Board (Youth ONLY)
The O‘ahu Youth Action Board (OYAB) was formed in March 2017 and is made up of members all of whom are age 29 or below and 100% are youth with lived experience of current or former homelessness. This is for youth ONLY.

Advocacy Committee
Advocacy offers individuals the opportunity to participate in the democratic process in support of a particular cause or policy.

Partners in Care is closed in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday.
Lived Experience Committee
The Lived Experience Committee is made up of individuals who have experienced homelessness and are committed to driving meaningful change within the Oʻahu Continuum of Care (CoC). This committee ensures that the voices of those with lived experience are centered in the planning, decision-making, and evaluation of homelessness services and systems. The committee meets regularly to elevate community-informed solutions and works in partnership with other committees to promote equity, accountability, and impactful change. Meetings will be held in person at the Partners in Care office and virtually to ensure inclusion of participants from the outer islands.

The Awareness and Communications Committee works to increase awareness of PIC, to engage the involvement of more partners, coordinates awareness and educational activities within the community and political arenas, and to plan the annual statewide conference.
CoC Advisory Board
The Advisory Board develops agendas for General Meetings, develops action steps to meet the O‘ahu CoC identified priorities, requests information from the City and State on behalf of the O‘ahu CoC, and represents the O‘ahu CoC at key city, state, or related governmental or political meetings. The Executive Chair (or their designee) schedules and leads Advisory Board meetings and assigns tasks to committee members. The Advisory Board, with consideration of any recommendations from the Planning Committee, decides each year whether to allow new applications for CoC funding in the CoC application to HUD (vs. limiting the application to renewals only).

Hawai'i Homelessness & Housing Conference
The Hawai'i Homelessness Awareness and Housing Solutions Conference, hosted by Partners in Care and Bridging the Gap, is a two-day event designed to bring together a diverse range of stakeholders to address the pressing issues of homelessness and housing insecurity in Hawai'i. With a focus on creating awareness, fostering dialogue, and exploring effective policy solutions, this conference aims to drive meaningful change to build a more equitable housing landscape for Hawai'i.

Lunch & Learn: Landlord Engagement Program
PIC’s LEP provides a much needed linkage between landlords and property managers with vacant units, and households currently experiencing or at-risk of becoming homeless, creating housing supply where demand generally far exceeds supply. Hosted by Allen Freese, Landlord Engagement Manager at Partners In Care.

Navigating clients into Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) through CES? Join the CES Team for a Lunch & Learn session on the new and improved Chronic Homeless Verification Packet. The CES Team will introduce the new, shortened packet and provide guidance on HUD's Chronic Homeless Definition. Hosted by Julia Wolfson, CES Manager, and the CES Team at Partners In Care.
